GATESVILLE — Motorcyclists from across Texas will gather here today for the fourth annual Biker Bash at Faunt Le Roy Park.

Members of T-Force Ministries of Longview will bend steel bars and skillets with their bare hands, break bricks with their elbows and snap baseball bats with their legs while preaching the Gospel.

Registration begins at noon for the free event, which includes live music, a bike show, bike games, food vendors, a horseshoe tournament, a fun run, door prizes, trophies and T-shirts. Performances by the Globe of Death from Dallas are at 1, 5 and 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The show involves riding motorcycles inside a 14.5-foot steel ball.

The bash began in 2011 at the Highway 2 Heaven Biker Church when more than 250 bikers assembled on the church lawn to party and worship, Pastor Monty Van Horn said.

The bash was at the park for the past three years, and drew more than 1,000 riders last year, Van Horn said.

All events are free, he said, but donations are accepted.
