Brides-to-be their loyal maids can satisfy their wedding planning needs at the annual Killeen Daily Herald Bridal Extravaganza this Sunday.
The bridal show has expanded each year, said Tamika Galmore, director of classified advertising at the Herald. Last year, there were more than 80 vendors at the bridal show, with offerings ranging from florists and deejays to bakeries and photographers.
Beauty salons and stylists will showcase their abilities, and travel agencies will be on-hand to showcase options for honeymoon vacations.
“They’ll have discount cards and (deals),” Gilmore said of the vendors, along with samples of their offerings, ranging from slices of wedding cake to specials on various bookings.
Attendees just dipping their toes into the wedding planning process can view local options for venues, alongside event planners, who will offer their services to streamline the planning leading up to the big day.
Planning a wedding is a task that can be overwhelming to the newly-engaged.
This bridal show will feature all of Killeen’s future brides’ needs in one setting, allowing them to view a wide variety of options.
They can gather as much information as available to make a decision they feel good about, ensuring a picture perfect wedding day.
A bridal gown fashion show will serve as the highlight of the event, with local models showcasing the latest trends in wedding wear, alongside traditional gown and veil ensembles.
Future brides, family members and friends are welcome to attend the extravaganza throughout Sunday afternoon.
