Copperettes charity show tonight in Cove

COPPERAS COVE — The Copperas Cove High School Copperettes will host their fifth annual Copperette Christmas Charity Show at 7 tonight at Lea Ledger Auditorium, 400 S. 25th St., Copperas Cove. The theme is Dancing in a Winter Wonderland.

Coach Julia Hamilton said the audience can expect to see various dance numbers, including jazz, pom, lyrical and hip hop to cheerful holiday tunes. More than 100 dancers are expected to be in the show.

“We have members from all over the community performing in the show, including the Gatesville Dazzlers, Gym Kix, the Copperettes, the Starlets, and various dance classes performing.”

Special guest performances will be made by the varsity and junior varsity cheerleaders and the S.C. Lee and Copperas Cove Junior High schools’ cheerleaders.

Admission is $3 or free with a donation of a gently used coat, blanket/comforter, a new unwrapped toy or three nonperishable food items. All of the money and items collected will be given to charity.
