The Copperas Cove Christmas Parade sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce starts at 10 a.m. Saturday. The parade will begin at the high school parking lot and go down West Avenue D to U.S. Highway 190.

There are 25 entries in this year’s parade, including the 1st Cavalry Division Band and Color Guard from Fort Hood and several floats. Several late entries signed up for the parade with the warmer temperatures forecast for Saturday. Candy and free day passes to the YMCA will be given out to parade-goers who are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to enjoy the hourlong event.
