The Vineyard in Florence will host an intimate bridal show Sunday afternoon for future brides and grooms.

The picturesque 32-acre venue selects its preferred vendors for the show, said Brittney Rettig-Hidalgo, wedding coordinator and manager of The Vineyard.

“We’ll have vendors for every need,” Rettig-Hidalgo said, including a bakery, dress shop, florist, rental companies, DJ services and a photo booth company.

Attendees can look forward to a complimentary glass of champagne while they browse the hand-selected options.

The bridal show timing is ideal for the newly engaged who are planning weddings following the typical rash of holiday engagements that kick off each new year.

About eight models will showcase wedding gowns, allowing each bride-to-be to get up close and personal with the dresses.

Bridal gowns will not be the only option. Models will wear mother-of-the-bride dresses and bridesmaid selections, too.

The Vineyard will offer incentives to couples who book their wedding at the show. Vendors will offer their own deals and discounts as well.

Rettig-Hidalgo expects about 100 couples and family members to attend Sunday’s show.

A raffle will feature prizes including $1,500 toward The Vineyard’s venue space, among various vendor offerings.

This show is the first of the venue’s for the year.

They plan to host a second this summer. The Vineyard’s space is utilized for about 30 weddings annually.
