HARKER HEIGHTS — The “Laugh Out Loud” Comedy tour hits the Event Center on Saturday night.

The all-star lineup is headlined by Marcus D Wiley of the Yolanda Adams Morning Show. Central and South Texas talent will be showcased, including Ron Moore, aka “White Chocolate,” of San Antonio and “FLO” Vasquez of Temple.

The event is hosted by Shawn Harris of BET’s Comic View.

The “Laugh Out Loud” comedy show is one of many upcoming events that Killeen resident and co-head promoter Will Wright and co-head promoter/coordinator LaToya Thomas of B. Michele Events plan to bring to Central Texas.

“We are also going to have plays, musical concerts and festivals,” Thomas said. “It’s more than comedy we are presenting to the area this year.”

About 2,000 people are expected to attend the comedy show Saturday.

Wright said their main goal is to produce shows that inspire unity between races.

“Of course, we have African-American, Hispanic and Caucasian comics, so the show has a diverse feel,” Thomas said.

General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. VIP and platinum tickets range from $50 to $60, and include buffet and drinks.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.laughoutloud1.eventbrite.com or at Larry’s Barber Shop, 215 S. Main St., Copperas Cove; Dave’s Ice House, 831 E. U.S. Highway 190, Copperas Cove; The Living Room, 1002 E. Elms Road, Killeen; Mar’ Tee’ Cus Beauty Salon, 812 S. Fort Hood St., Killeen.
