Copperas Cove’s police and fire departments will compete in a soccer match to raise funds for the police department’s Explorer Program. Kickoff is at 4 p.m. Sunday at the high school soccer field, on East Avenue F and South Second Street. Explorers alumni will sell hot dogs and hamburgers. Admission to the game is free.

The Central Texas College Fine Arts Department presents “Soundwaves,” an exhibit by rock ’n’ roll photographer Koury Angelo, in the upstairs art gallery of the campus library through Dec. 5.

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor College of Visual and Performing Arts and the UMHB Art Department present an Alumni Exhibition featuring Katy Heinlein, class of 1995, and Michael Blair, class of 2002, through Saturday. “A Call To Arms” at the Visual Arts Complex Gallery at Temple College is curated by Wynona Alexander, Central Texas College art professor, and features wearable jewelry pieces and conceptual bracelet shapes that utilize silver, gold, copper, bronze and gemstones as well as glass ceramics, mixed media and photographs.
