America’s Navy is coming to Killeen at 7 p.m. Tuesday for a performance at the Killeen Amphitheater, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. The band also will perform at 7 p.m. Monday in the Frank Mayborn Auditorium, 3011 N. Third St., Temple. Both shows are free and open to the public.


The Killeen Independent School District Fine Arts Department is holding auditions for its annual summer musical this week. This year’s show is “Fiddler on the Roof Junior.” Auditions, open to all first- through eighth-graders who reside in Killeen ISD, are from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Jackson Professional Learning Center at 902 Rev. R.A. Abercrombie Drive in Killeen. Students will learn a portion of a song and dance at the audition. Parents are required to attend the audition with their students. Rehearsals are from 8 a.m. to noon weekdays, June 9-25. Performances are at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 26-27. All rehearsals and performances will take place at Killeen High School.
