Benefit for West: From 5 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday and from noon to 10 p.m. Sunday, a variety of local musicians will perform at the Melody Ranch, 2315 S. Robinson Drive, Waco, to raise money for victims of last week’s explosion in West. Admission is $10 per day for adults and $1 for children, age 10 and younger.

On Saturday, the Harker Heights Ladies of Charity is hosting a Spring Luncheon and Style Show to benefit local food pantries. Planetarium

The Mayborn Planetarium and Space Theater at Central Texas College is now showing an exhibit featuring tiles from space shuttles. The display is in the planetarium’s Exhibit Room primarily during regular show schedules but also is available upon request.
