The Jeffrey Arnold Foundation of Gatesville opens its third season of Festival Concerts beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church, 2600 E. Main St. The week-long summer series will open with a concert of music for the oboe, performed by two Coryell County natives, Cody Mendoza and Cory Snoddy. The artists will be accompanied at the piano by Jeffrey Arnold. All concerts are free and open to the public. Donations will be received at each performance benefiting the foundation’s scholarship and tuition assistance programs. A reception will be held in the church parlor following each performance.
