The Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum presents “Citizens at Last: The Woman Suffrage Movement in Texas” through Aug. 31. “Citizens at Last” focuses on the 27-year woman’s suffrage campaign in Texas. This traveling exhibition by Humanities Texas uses archival photographs, newspaper clippings, cartoons, cards, and texts to illustrate the struggle of women to gain the right to vote in Texas. The museum also plans a Reading History Book Club that is free and open to the public. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. August’s selection is “Sisters: The Lives of America’s Suffragists” by Jean H. Baker. The museum is at 315 W.
