The Fine Arts Department at Central Texas College will hold its fall Guest Artist Performance Tuesday at the Anderson Campus Center.

The concert’s featured artist is Leslie Spotz, associate professor of piano at Tarleton State University.

Her resume features an international solo career and performances at Tchaikovsky Hall of Moscow University, South Bank Center of London, The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and the famed Academy of Music in Philadelphia.

Spotz also performed in numerous tours of Germany, concerts in Italy at the Lorenzo de’Medici Institute and at the inaugural opening of the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. In June, Spotz performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with soprano Marika Kyriakos.

During her performance at CTC, Spotz will include selections by Mozart and the rarely played “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Modeste Mussorgsky.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Anderson Campus Center (Bldg. 156).

Tickets are $5 per person, and proceeds will benefit the Central Texas College Concert Series Music Scholarship Fund. Free child care will be provided. For more information, call 254-526-1572.
