On Sunday evening, celebrate the holiday season with a Night of Sunday Best at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.

The show will feature praise and gospel musical performances by Joshua Rogers, Le’Andria Johnson and Aleixis Spight.

The singers have all been featured on the popular BET reality singing competition, “Sunday Best.”

The show pits gospel singers against each other in competition weekly. It first aired in 2007, and aired season six this past summer.

Joshua Rogers was crowned the first male winner on season five in the summer of 2012.

Le’Andria Johnson won season three of the show, and is the only winner thus far to win a Grammy. She won Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance in 2012.

Alexis Spight was the season five runnerup at the age of 19.

All three artists subsequently produced gospel albums.

Judges on the show have included Grammy-winning gospel singers Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans and Mary Mary.

“They haven’t been to Killeen before,” said organizer Marilyn Joyce, of Marilyn’s Hair Exclusives in Harker Heights.

The salon is one of several locations where tickets can be purchased.

In Killeen, Gay’s House of Beauty, Crown and Glory Beauty Salon and Salon Upscale have tickets available, as well as Tiffany’s Hair Salon in Temple and additional locations in Waco and Austin.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the concert, Joyce said.

Tickets for the show are $30 for general admission and $45 for VIP.

Doors open at 4 p.m., and the show begins at 5 p.m. Call 254-628-7717.
