A novel British drama full of stars, a new Oscar-nominated animated film and Quentin Tarantino’s first film are highlights on this week’s arthouse-cinema schedule.

NEW AT CIRCLE CINEMA

“The Sense of an Ending”: A brilliant British cast of Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling and Michelle Dockery star in this drama about an elderly man forced to look back at a moment in his past and how it will shape his legacy.

My Life as a Zucchini”: This touching story of an orphan learning to love and trust again, made as a stop-motion animated story from Switzerland, was a nominee for best animated film at the recent Academy Awards.

“Mr. Gaga”: In collaboration with the OK Dance Film Festival, the Circle presents showings of this documentary about renowned choreographer Ohad Naharin, artistic director of the Batsheva Dance Company. A dance demonstration is set to follow a 3 p.m. Sunday screening.

“Summer Wars”: A teen genius, a crush on a girl, a mathematic equation and Earth colliding with a parallel world are all part of this 2009 anime favorite, which is the latest in the Circle’s “Anime Club” showings, set for 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“Reservoir Dogs” 25th anniversary: Cinemark’s classic-movie series continues with the 1992 crime drama that was director Quentin Tarantino’s debut, showing at 2 p.m. Sunday and 2 and 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cinemark Tulsa.

Bolshoi Ballet on the big screen: Experience the company’s production of “A Contemporary Evening” of works at 11:55 a.m. Sunday at Cinemark Tulsa.

See next week’s wide-release movie early: Showtimes are set for previews of movies including “Power Rangers” as early as 7 p.m. Thursday at Tulsa-area theaters.

Tickets now on sale: Scarlett Johansson in “Ghost in the Shell,” beginning March 30; “Fate of the Furious,” opening April 13.
