Best Bets

The Central Texas College Hobby Memorial Library will open its Second Tuesday series on Tuesday with a poetry slam entitled “Love Notes.” It will be an evening of poetry readings and musical entertainment featuring members of the Killeen Slam poets group. Following the main attraction, an open mic session will be held. The event is in the CTC library from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and is free and open to the public.

The Harker Heights High School Choir presents The Knight Club today and Saturday. Students will perform musical hits with a live band and professional light show at 7 p.m. in the HHHS Auditorium. Auditions

Auditions for the 2013 season of the outdoor musical drama, “Salado Legends,” will be at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Tablerock Amphitheater’s indoor stage, 409 Royal St. in Salado.
