Best Bets

The Central Texas Astronomical Society plans its next Bell County Star Party at 6 p.m. Saturday at Overlook Park, near Stillhouse Hollow Lake outside Belton. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, go to www.centexastronomy.org.

Auditions

Auditions for the 2013 season of the outdoor musical drama, “Salado Legends,” will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 9-10 at Tablerock Amphitheater’s indoor stage, 409 Royal St. in Salado. Legends requires singers, actors of all ages, dancers and stage/tech crew. For audition information, call (254) 947-9205.

The Harker Heights High School Choir presents The Knight Club Feb. 8-9. Students will perform musical hits with a live band and professional light show at 7 p.m. in the HHHS Auditorium.
