Motorcyclists in Bell, Coryell and Lampasas counties area are gearing up for the 24th annual TriCounty Toy Run on Sunday.
The TriCounty Toy Run Committee and American Legion Post 133 are inviting all bikers and volunteers to attend the event, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. with breakfast at American Legion Post 133 in Temple.
The toy run is an annual event that raises donations and awareness for families who may not be able to afford gifts for their children during the Christmas season.
The toy run will start at American Legion Post 133 in Temple at the corner of 25th Street and Avenue M. Riders will travel to Ogletree Gap Park in Copperas Cove.
The riders will leave Temple at 1 p.m. and reach the park about 2 p.m. All riders wishing to participate in the toy run are asked to bring a new toy to donate.
A free breakfast will mark the beginning of the event, and a free chili supper awaits riders and volunteers at Ogletree Gap Park. Admission to the event is any monetary donation or a donation of a new toy.
