Meadows Elementary School

On May 24, 2007, families gathered for a picnic on the last day of the school year and the last day of school at the old Meadows Elementary School on 422 27th Street on Fort Hood. Students and staff watched through the year as the new Meadows building took shape on 423 27th Street. The school on Fort Hood named for Lt. Col. Benjamin Meadows, a post engineer, turns 60 this year and is celebrating on Thursday, October 24.
