Free food giveaway scheduled for March 15
Open Arms Outreach will offer its free monthly food pantry beginning at 9 a.m. March 15 at the ministry’s outreach center at 413 Eighth St., between Modern TV & Appliance and the Armed Services YMCA in downtown Killeen.
In addition to the free food giveaway, breakfast burritos will be served at no charge. The food pantry will remain open as long as the food lasts. The free food pantry is part of a community outreach program held on the third Saturday of each month.
This ministry serves the community by providing emergency food, toiletry items, financial assistance and counseling. It also operates an adult literacy program and offers free educational tutoring for school-age children.

First COGIC to host youth forum March 15

A three-day personal walk with Jesus, by The Austin Diocese English Cursillo, for the Women’s Weekend is April 3-6 and Men’s Weekend, April 24-27.
