First COGIC to host youth forum today
The First COGIC Youth Department presents a Plant A Seed & Affect A Future Youth forum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at 5201 Westcliff Road in Killeen.
Lunch will be served. All young people ages 5 and older are invited.
Topics include self-image; education and you; mental health; drug and alcohol; youth and the law; and health, sex, and safety.
Free food giveaway scheduled for today
Open Arms Outreach will have its free monthly food pantry beginning at 9 a.m. today at the ministry’s outreach center at 413 Eighth St. in Killeen.
In addition to the free food giveaway, breakfast burritos will be served at no charge.
The food pantry will remain open only as long as the food lasts.
This ministry serves the community by providing emergency food, toiletry items, and financial assistance and counseling. It also operates an adult literacy program and offers free educational tutoring for school-age children.

Grace UMC’s choir preparing for Easter
Grace United Methodist Church’s Chancel Choir in Copperas Cove is preparing for Easter services.

Grace Lutheran to host course on finances
