Killeen church to mark anniversary Sunday
Second Street Baptist Church, 1602 N. Second St. in Killeen, will have its 31st church anniversary at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
The speaker will be Pastor A.L Watson of The First Baptist Church in Taylor.
Pastor Roy M. Harris is pastor of Second Street Baptist.
Killeen church offers VBS next week
Second Street Baptist Church will offer vacation Bible school Monday through Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. each day.
The church is at 1602 N. Second St. in Killeen.
Nolanville church offers VBS next week
The First Baptist Church of Nolanville invites children to Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School on Sunday through Thursday.
Kids will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play team-building games, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love and test gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer.
Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God sightings. Each day concludes with the Funshop Finale. Family members and friends are invited to this special time at 8:30 p.m.
The program is for kids age 3 through middle school. The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. daily.

Killeen church offers VBS July 24-28
East Side Baptist Church will offer vacation Bible school July 24-28 from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. each day
Children age 4 through sixth grade are admitted free.
During the same week, teenagers can experience “Galactic Starveyors” from 1 to 3 p.m. with Bible study and special activities planned just for them.

The pre-registration event is July 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with games, food, fun and prizes.
Ladies in Prayer Station to meet Aug. 5
Ladies in Prayer Station will meet at the Agape COGIC under the leadership of Superintendent/Pastor M. Johnson and Lady E. Johnson at 9 a.m. Aug. 5.
The church is at 3000 Nolan Road in Killeen.

Killeen church offers VBS July 24-28
Skyline Baptist Church at 906 Trimmier Road in Killeen would like to invite all children ages 4 years old through completed sixth grade to “Galactic Starveyors” vacation Bible school.
VBS will begin July 24 and continue through July 28 from 9 a.m. to noon each day.
Harker Heights church to offer VBS in July
Iglesia Uncion De Lo Alto Church will have its vacation Bible school from 8 a.m. to noon starting July 26.
All ages are welcome to attend this free event.
There will be guest speakers from the local fire and police department, learning and fun activities for the kids. Parents and guardians can sign up the children on the first day of VBS.
The church is looking for sponsorship for this summer program.

Healing seminar set for July 29 in Temple
Killeen Healing Rooms and Cornerstone Christian Fellowship are sponsoring a free seminar called “Exploring Healing From A New Covenant Perspective.”
It will be held at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 819 S. 29th St. in Temple on July 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is free, but registration is required.

Killeen church plans VBS starting July 31
Immanuel Lutheran Church will have vacation Bible school from July 31 to Aug. 4. Each session will be preceded with a light dinner at 5 p.m., followed by the session from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The theme is “Maker Fun Factor.”
