Redeemed Christian Church of God continues its 10th anniversary this weekend.

Church sells dinners, hosts garage sale today

Bountiful New Life COGIC in Harker Heights will have a Barbecue Plate and Garage Sale beginning at 8 a.m. today.

The garage sale is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Plus-size clothing will be available.

The dinners sale is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes barbecue chicken with bread, potato salad, baked beans, homemade 7-Up cake and a soda for $10 a plate.

Church plans gospel fest, ice cream social today

Pidcoke United Methodist Church, 11230 Farm-to-Market 116 North (halfway between Gatesville and Copperas Cove), will have a Gospel Fest and Ice Cream Social from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

The event will feature homemade ice cream and finger foods.

Killeen Healing Rooms offer prayer teams today

The Killeen Healing Rooms will be open today from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The rooms are in the KPLE-TV building at 502 E. Elms Road in Killeen.

The group will have prayer teams available to seek healing in the name of Jesus Christ.

Salado church’s prayer service is Sunday

St. Stephen Catholic Church in Salado will have a prayer service and benediction at 6 p.m. Sunday to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

Vegan chef, author to present health seminar

The Seventh-­day Adventist Church will welcome Melody Prettyman, a Texas-based vegan chef and author, as she presents a health seminar at 3 p.m. Sunday at 4700 E. Rancier Ave., Killeen.

Food samples will be available. Prettyman is a regularly featured cooking expert on the Three Angels Broadcasting Network and co-­hosts a weekly radio program entitled “Focus on Healthy Foods” on 3ABN radio with Nikki Anderson.

Killeen church plans revival Sept. 18

New Sunset Community Church will have special nights of revivals as it welcomes revival speaker Herman Cramer and Ernie Mike, music evangelist, starting Sept. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. The revival will continue Sept. 19-21 at 7 p.m. at 814 W. Avenue C, Killeen.

The Holy Tabernacle District fall budget conference will convene Sept. 21-23 at God’s Holy Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Killeen.

Host pastor is Supt. Dr. Rudolph Jackson.

Bishop James E. Hornsby, prelate of the Texas Northeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, will speak at 7:30 nightly.

Wednesday night the conference will be closed out by Supt. Dr. Rudolph Jackson, superintendent of the Holy Tabernacle District.

Killeen church to host women’s conference

Kingdom Heirs Ministries will present the Mirror, Mirror Women’s Conference at 2 p.m. Sept. 17.

Free registration and meet-and-greet begins at noon and continues until 1:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker is Apostle Janice Davis-Cammon, overseer of World Renown International Ministries, Leander, and Joint Heirs for Christ International Ministries, Killeen.

The hosting church is at Praise and Deliverance House of Prayer, 315 N. Gray St., Killeen, where Bishop Robert C. Fletcher, presiding prelate, is the pastor.
