HOPE singers to perform tonight at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church 

Area residents are invited to St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church tonight for a concert presented by the HOPE singers of California Baptist University’s Cillingsworth School of Music. The 6 p.m. performance is part of a 14-state tour by the group of eight superb young vocalists. The concert is free, in coordination with the Central Texas Master Singers. All are invited to attend. New Bethel Church in Killeen hosting clothing giveway today

New Bethel Church in Killeen will sponsor a clothing giveaway from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Items include clean, good condition clothing for men, women, and children as well as household items. There is no charge for the items. Steel Magnolias to present choreographed gospel concert Sunday

The Steel Magnolias from San Marcos will present a fully choreographed Southern gospel concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church, Florence. The church is at 106 College Ave.

Danny and Chris Sinacori featured at gospel concert on Sunday 

Danny and Chris Sinacori, from Peoria, Ill., will be featured in a special gospel concert on Sunday at Bethel Church, 4307 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd., in Killeen. Service time is 10:30 a.m. The Sinacoris have been in music ministry for several decades delighting audiences from coast to coast as well as overseas. Recordings, radio and television appearances are all part of their music evangelism outreach. Danny Sinacori is an accomplished concert pianist and has played in ministry with such notables as Missionary, Mark Buntain and Katheryn Kuhlman.

Killeen Healing Room open Tuesday at KPLE-TV building

The Killeen Healing Rooms will be open from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the KPLE-TV building at 502 E. Elms Road in Killeen.The group’s commission is based on Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs shall follow those that believe...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Prayer teams will be available to seek healing in the name of Jesus Christ.

Registration for in-depth Community Bible Study of Isaiah continues

The Temple-Belton Community Bible Study adult evening class is registering members for next year’s 30-week, in-depth interdenominational Bible study of Isaiah. Beginning Sept. 12, the class will meet Mondays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the small sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Belton, at Sixth and Main streets.

Individuals may choose to participate in core groups for young adults, men, women or married couples. Each week participants receive a reading commentary on the previous week’s topic and a set of questions to work on each day covering the next week’s reading. These questions are discussed in small groups of about 15. Following the small groups, there is a short teaching over the same section of Scripture.
