Dance Academy to host conference
Karar International Dance Academy is hosting its fifth annual Worship Arts Conference next month at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center, 3601 S. W.S. Young Drive.
“The King is Coming in All His Glory” is July 18-20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 10 p.m., daily.
The conference features word preaching, instructional teaching on choreography, workshop sessions and pageantry.
Other events include: access to market place ministers-for your ministerial and dance needs, garments for purchase, ministerial clothing, flags and other praise instruments.

A men’s community-wide prayer breakfast is today at Hillside Ministries.

Self-esteem seminar set for today at noon

Royal Dynasty Seminar scheduled
Royal Dynasty Seminar with Dr. Don Crum and his team will be in Killeen, today and Sunday, at the Shilo Inn on W.S. Young Drive.
The Royal Dynasty is a teaching series on our dual role as both priest and king as God identifies us. Understanding the Royal Dynasty and the delegated authority in Christ is imperative, the seminar teaches.
Since Crum taught this series last year, he has new revelations and illustrations. Crum serves as the president and founder of Leadership International.
Jamie Lipe, singer-songwriter, will lead the worship. She serves as worship leader and head of intercession at her church.
Saturday’s sessions begin at 9:30 a.m. and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday sessions start at 2 and 6:30 p.m.

The service is to honor soldiers, firefighters, policemen, EMS personnel, and county and city officials for what they do daily, keeping the community safe.

Bishop Bray to speak at New Bethel
Bishop William Bray Jr. of the Restoration Kingdom International in the Apostolic Doctrine of Jesus Christ in San Antonio will speak at 5 p.m. Sunday at New Bethel Christian Worship Center.
As a bishop, Bray oversees more than 500 churches internationally. He is active in urban development and dedicated to building people and cultivating the city of San Antonio.
Bishop Bray and Pastor Sharanay Bray, his wife, have been coined “The Freedom Fighters.”
Bray graduated with honors from the Southwest Institute of Technology in Austin, and from Wayland Baptist University in San Antonio. He is currently working on an MBA with a specialization in economics from Wayland Baptist University.
Special guests for the evening include recording artist Prophetess Barbara Williams.

Monthly luncheon set for Tuesday
The Killeen Christian Ministers Fellowship monthly prayer luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at East Side Baptist Church, 500 N. W.S. Young Drive.
All pastors, ministers and chaplains in the greater Killeen and Fort Hood area are invited. Senior pastors who are unable to attend are encouraged to send a representative.
A complimentary lunch will be provided.
The Killeen Christian Ministers Fellowship is an informal organization whose goal is to strengthen relationships among the spiritual leaders of the community. There are no dues or fees, and membership is open to all pastors, ministers and chaplains in the local area. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month for fellowship and prayer.

Church to host Mexican Consulate
St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church is hosting the Mexican consulate on July 13.
The Mexican consulate is bringing a team to provide consular services to Mexican citizens in the area, and can serve between 200 to 300 clients that day.
The Consulate will be in the Parish Hall at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 2800 Trimmier Road, Killeen, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Back to School 5k Fun Run Aug. 3
A Back to School 5k Fun Run is at 9 a.m. Aug. 3 at Ogletree Stage Stop and Post Office on U.S. Highway 190 in Copperas Cove.
Participants will receive a T-shirt, a bag of school supplies and will be entered in a drawing.
The registration fee before July 20 is $25. After July 20, the fee is $30.
Registration is held from 10 a.m. to noon and from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturdays at Hillside Ministries Food Bank, 306 Casa Drive, Copperas Cove.
