Killeen Healing Rooms offers training day today
The Killeen Healing Rooms is sponsoring a one-day “Heal The Sick” training day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
This training is at the KPLE-TV building at 502 E. Elms Road (suite C) in Killeen.
Participants will study what the New Testament teaches about healing through the life and teachings of Jesus.

Groups to perform Oct. 8 at Cove church
The Divine Messengers will celebrate 14 years of ministering through music at 4 p.m. Oct. 8 at Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church, 2306 S. Farm-to-Market 116, Copperas Cove, where S.D. McMullen is pastor.
Special guests will be Sister Sister of Killeen, the Gospel Sons Quartet of Waco, the Gospel Holy Tones of Temple and others.

Public invited to pray for the unborn Monday
Area residents are invited to attend the monthly citywide time of prayer at Hope Pregnancy Center in Killeen.
The event will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, as participants petition the Lord on behalf of the unborn in the spirit of Biblical unity.
HPC is located in Southpointe Center directly south of the Copper Mountain post office on W.S. Young Drive in suite 301-C.

Group plans prayer luncheon Tuesday
The Killeen Christian Ministers Fellowship monthly prayer luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at East Side Baptist Church, 500 N. W.S. Young Drive in Killeen.
All pastors, ministers and chaplains in the greater Killeen/Fort Hood area are invited. Senior pastors who are unable to attend are encouraged to send a representative.
A complimentary lunch will be provided.
The Killeen Christian Ministers Fellowship is an informal group whose goal is to strengthen relationships among the spiritual leaders of the community.
There are no dues, and membership is open to all pastors, ministers and chaplains in the local area. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month for fellowship and prayer.

Cove church plans Blessing of the Pets
St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Copperas Cove will offer its annual Blessing of the Pets on Oct. 9 at Cove City Park after the 11 a.m. church service.
Watch for signs. All pets are welcome, on a leash or in a kennel.
Each pet will receive a blessing from the priest and a blessing certificate.
Ladies of Charity set holiday bazaar Nov. 5-6
Harker Heights Ladies of Charity will have a Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 5 and 6 at St. Paul’s Parish Center, 2412 Stillhouse Road in Harker Heights.
On Nov. 5, the hours will be from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Nov. 6 from 8 to 11 a.m. There will be a variety of items for sale to include handmade crafts, baked goods, books, jewelry, fabric, Christmas, religious gifts, and many other items, along with a Big Holiday Raffle.
All proceeds go to help local residents living in poverty and needing help.
