Second Street Baptist Church in Killeen offers a free breakfast to the public every second Saturday of the month at the Moss Rose Community Center, 1103 E. Avenue E, Killeen.

Killeen Healing Rooms are open today
The Killeen Healing Rooms will be open from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. today in the KPLE-TV building at 502 E. Elms Road in Killeen.
The group’s commission is based on Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs shall follow those that believe ... they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Prayer teams will be available to seek healing in the name of Jesus.
Cove church to celebrate choir anniversary today
Bountiful New Life COGIC will celebrate its choir anniversary at 4 p.m. today.
The theme of the event is “Exalting the Lord for His Greatness through Song and Praise” — Psalms 145:1-3.
The guest speaker is Elder Derrick Moore of Living Word COGIC in Waco.

Church signing up kids for sports programs
Skyline Baptist Church, at 906 Trimmier Road in Killeen would like to invite all boys and girls (kindergarten through sixth grade) to register for UPWARD Basketball and Cheerleading from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
Registration will be held in the Family Life Center gym. The cost per child for either basketball or cheerleading is $60.
Practices will begin the first week of January, and games will begin Jan. 14.

Public invited to church’s German service Sunday
Immanuel Lutheran Church of Copperas Cove will celebrate its annual “Advent Gottesdienst,” a German service, on Sunday.
The public is invited to attend and to bring friends and neighbors for the day’s activities. The guest preacher for the day will be the Rev. Otto Brillinger, who will come from Indiana to conduct the services. He will show slides of his mission travels in the parish hall at 9:30 a.m. and preach in English at the regular 10:30 a.m. church service time.
A potluck lunch will follow.
The German service will begin at 2 p.m., followed by refreshments in the parish hall. This is a yearly community-wide special tradition at Immanuel.

Groves to host pastor, ministers’ wives dinner
Garden of Gethsemane Church of God in Christ will sponsor its annual pastor and ministers’ wives Christmas dinner in the home of Supt. and Missionary Grove at 7 p.m. Monday.
This will be the 34th year for the dinner, which is intended to be a night of prayer, dinner, fellowship and realizing that Jesus is the reason for the season.

Prophet Eugene Timmons will be the guest speaker at St. John Faith Outreach Baptist Church from Monday through Dec. 17 at 7:30 each night.

Bibleway Church of God in Christ in Killeen will sponsor a free dinner and toy giveaway at 3 p.m. Dec. 17 at the church, 300 W. Jasper Road.

Adult Bible study class registering members
The Temple-Belton Community Bible Study adult evening class is registering members for the fall/spring 30-week interdenominational Bible study of Isaiah.
The class meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the small sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Belton, at Sixth and Main streets, Belton.
An introductory class will be held for anyone interested in learning more about Community Bible Study. Individuals may choose to participate in core groups for men, women or married couples.
Each week participants receive a reading commentary on the previous week’s topic and a set of questions to work on each day covering the next week’s reading.
