‘A Sister Speaks’ launches Sunday
Anderson Chapel A.M.E. Church will convene the launch of “A Sister Speaks” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Rev. Dr. William M. Campbell Jr. is the senior pastor.
The guest preacher is the Rev. Cokeisha Bailey-Robinson, director of growth for the Concord Church in Dallas.
Robinson serves as the director of growth for the Concord Church in Dallas under the leadership of Pastor Bryan Carter.
She has served as a missionary to a number of countries and studied in Izmir, Turkey. She writes for several devotional sites and has contributed to three books, one of which she co-authored: “Farther In and Deeper Down” by the Bailey family.
A Sister Speaks will be each fourth Sunday at the church and will feature distinguished women from around the country. The community is invited.

First COGIC to offer Men’s Day program
The annual Men’s Day program at First COGIC begins at 4 p.m. Sunday at 5201 Westcliff Road, Killeen.
The theme for the occasion is God Wants Another Man. 1 Samuel: 10:6.
New Life Prayer to mark pastor’s anniversary
New Life Prayer Fellowship invites the public to celebrate the first anniversary of its pastor and his wife, Elder Joseph and Sister LaTosha Dickerson Sr.
The anniversary and pastor’s birthday celebration starts at 5 p.m. Sunday.
Bishop LaDell Thomas Jr., jurisdictional prelate, Texas Southeast 2nd Ecclesiastic Jurisdiction, will be the speaker.
The theme is “A Leader with an Understanding Heart.” Psalms: 37:37.

First UMC Killeen to offer fried pies next week
Fried pies are back at First United Methodist Church Killeen, 3501 E. Elms Road.
The pies will be filled, fried and sold from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, until all pies are sold.

Healing Rooms open Tuesday night
The Killeen Healing Rooms will be open from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the KPLE-TV building at 502 E. Elms Road in Killeen.
The group’s commission is based on Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs shall follow those that believe ... they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Prayer teams will be available to seek healing in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Men of Unity to present In the Spirit of Giving
