‘Bow the Knee’

“Bow the Knee” performances are scheduled for 10:45 a.m. today at 4700 E. Rancier Ave. and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Killeen Performing Arts Center, Building A, 801 N. Fourth St. 

“Bow the Knee” will be presented by Killeen Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The public is invited to the free musical drama.

St. Christopher’s Episcopal

The first service of Easter — the Great Vigil — begins at 8:02 p.m. today. The celebration continues on Easter Sunday with 7:45 and 10:30 a.m. services, followed by an egg hunt and potluck luncheon. All are welcome.

First Presbyterian

An Easter Sunday sunrise service begins at 7 a.m. Breakfast will be served after the service. An Easter celebration service starts at 11 a.m., followed by an Easter egg hunt.

Bethel Church

The church, 4307 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Killeen, will move to the main sanctuary of Killeen Seventh-day Adventist Church for the 10:30 a.m. Easter service Sunday.

The Adventist Church is at 4700 E. Rancier Ave. in Killeen. The youth department and the children’s church department will have featured segments and worship will be led by the Bethel Praise Team.

Immanuel Lutheran

The church invites the public to an Easter sunrise service at the large white cross on the mountainside behind the church at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. A walking trail leads to seating at the cross. Rides to the cross available. Warm coats and/or blankets are recommended. Breakfast will be served after the service in the parish hall. Everyone is invited to the Easter celebration service at 10:30 a.m. at the church, which is 2 miles north of Copperas Cove on North First Street and then 2 miles west at 922 Lutheran Church Road. First Presbyterian

The church will have a 7 a.m. Easter Sunday service, followed by breakfast. An Easter egg hunt is at 9 a.m. Parents are asked to bring a dozen eggs for each child. An Easter movie with fellowship starts at 9:45 a.m. Worship service is at 11 a.m.

The church is at 704 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Copperas Cove.

Bible Way Missionary

An Easter sunrise service is at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Rev. Kerry L. Burkley Sr., pastor of Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Waco, will speak.

Belton First UMC

An Easter sunrise service starts at 6:30 a.m. Sunday at Miller Springs Outdoor Center at Belton Lake. The traditional Easter services are at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary along with a 5 p.m. Living Water Praise Easter service.

Val Verde Baptist

The church will celebrate an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. Sunday. The public is invited. A continental breakfast will be provided.

A special Easter worship service is at 10:50 a.m.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bell County, 1726 Morgans Point Road, will celebrate its annual flower communion at 10 a.m. Sunday. Children’s activities include an Easter egg hunt after the service.
