Mighty clouds of joy
Joe Ligon and The Mightly Clouds of Joy will present a Father’s Day concert in Killeen. The gospel group has performed for more than 50 years and opened for some of the biggest names in show business, including Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and the Rolling Stones.

Joe Ligon and The Mighty Clouds of Joy will perform a Father’s Day Concert at 4 p.m. June 16 at The People’s Choice Worship Center.
Advance general admission tickets or tickets at the door are $25 each.
Advance VIP tickets, $35 each, include a “meet and greet” with the Mighty Clouds of Joy and refreshments after the concert.
Doors open at 2 p.m.
The church is at 4710 E. Rancier Ave. in Killeen.

Joe Ligon and The Mighty Clouds of Joy was the first gospel group to perform on “Soul Train” in 1974. They’ve performed at the White House and opened for some of the biggest names in show business, including the Rolling Stones, James Brown, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin.
After more than 50 years of touring the nation, they will perform in Killeen for the first time during a Father’s Day Concert at 4 p.m. June 16 at The People’s Choice Worship Center.
