Abundant Life Church of God

First Baptist Church of Trimmier

First Presbyterian Church

Sunday: Easter Sunday sunrise service, 7 a.m. Breakfast after sunrise service. Easter egg hunt after 11 a.m. service.

First United Methodist Church

Today: Children’s Easter egg hunt, 10:30 a.m., 6503 Wells Fargo, Killeen. Bring a side dish or dessert for the cookout.

Sunday: Sunrise service, 7:15 a.m., corner of Cunningham and Elms Roads. Easter breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m. Easter worship services, 9:30 and 11 a.m., 3501 E. Elms Road, Killeen.

Immanuel Lutheran Church - Killeen

Sunday: Easter sunrise service with communion at the church’s cemetery, 1715 Old Farm-to-Market 440 in Killeen. 7 a.m.

Breakfast by Youth of Immanuel, 8:30 a.m. at the church, 1104 N. Fourth St., Killeen. Free will offering accepted.

Flowering of the Cross, church courtyard, 9:15 a.m.

Easter worship service with communion at the church, 10:30 a.m.

Immanuel Lutheran Church - Copperas Cove

Sunday: Easter sunrise service (large white cross on the mountainside behind the church), 7 a.m.

A walking trail leads up to seating at the cross. Rides to the cross will be available. Warm coats and/or blankets are recommended.

Breakfast in parish hall, 8 a.m. Easter service, 10:30 a.m.

The public is invited.

New Sunset Community Church

Today: Easter egg hunts, hot dogs, music, bouncy houses, door prizes with live music by Renegade Redeemed and Unscripted, 2 to 5 p.m.

Sunday: Resurrection Sunday service, 10:50 a.m.

Pershing Park Baptist Church

Sunday: Sunrise service, 7 a.m. Easter cantata, 11 a.m.

St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church

Today: The Vigil (bring a bell), 8 p.m.

Sunday: Easter Day Rite I, 7:45 a.m. Rite II Spanish service, 9 a.m. Rite II family service, 10:30 a.m. Easter egg hunt and lunch after 10:30 a.m. service. Attendees are invited to bring flowers for the cross on Easter Sunday.

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

Harker Heights community Easter service

Sunday: 35th annual Community Easter Sunrise Service at the Amphitheater in Carl Levin Park, between Farm-to-Market 2410 and Highway 190 on Millers Crossing, 7 a.m.

The amphitheater is in the northeast end of the park near Helms Way. There will be an unloading point there so that drivers may let passengers off and then park.

If it rains, the service will be conducted at Trinity Baptist Church, 403 Farm-to-Market 2410, Harker Heights.

Easter breakfast served after the service at the Harker Heights Library and Activity Center.

The public is invited to the service and breakfast.
