Trunk or treat, fall festival events

KILLEEN

First Baptist Church of Trimmier invites the public to the “Trunk or Treat” Fall Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

There will be games and inflatables. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

Nonperishable food item donations benefit the Killeen Food Pantry.

Grace Lutheran Church and School of Killeen will hold its seventh annual Trunk-or-Treat event from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 in the church parking lot.

This event gives children a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.

Participants will collect candy from the trunks of cars in the parking lot. Games, prizes and food. Location: 1007 Bacon Ranch Road.

First United Methodist Church in Killeen will offer free and safe trick-or-treating, Trunk or Treat, from 5 to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at 3501 E. Elms Road.

COPPERAS COVE

Truth and Deliverance Ministries will host Trunk or Treat on Oct. 26.

HARKER HEIGHTS

Trinity Baptist Church in Harker Heights will hold its annual Fall Festival from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27.

Admission is one can or box of nonperishable goods to be donated to the Harker Heights Food Care Center.

The event will feature a bounce house and slide, games, booths, a cake walk, and free hot dogs, popcorn and snow cones. There will be a chili cook-off sponsored by Sunday school classes that everyone will help judge.

Children are invited to wear costumes that are fun and friendly.

PIDCOKE

A Children‘s Christian Fall Festival at Pidcoke Baptist Church is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 30.

The Pidcoke Youth and Leaders will host the event, which features games, candy and food for all of the children in the area. Refreshments for adults also will be available. The church is on Farm-to-Market 116 between Copperas Cove and Gatesville.
