The Central Texas College Patio Café Cuisine Nights offers flavors of India this Friday. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the culinary area of the Student Center (building 106). Prepared by students in the international cuisine class of the culinary hospitality program, the menu features the following items.
The appetizer is grilled, ground lamb on skewer ($5.50) and the soup is pigeon pea stew. This specialty dish of India has a light regional spice of chana dal and coconut and is served with Tandoori bread ($10 or add a cup to an entrée for $2.50). The featured salad is marinated shrimp salad ($12.50) or choose the house salad ($3.75 or free with an entrée).
