The Central Texas College Culinary Arts Department will host a Patio Café Cuisine Nights Dining Experience on Friday. The menu features a Latin America cuisine.

The featured appetizer and soup for the evening are miniphyllo cups filled with shrimp salad ($4) and gazpacho andaluz ($10 for a bowl or $2 for a cup with an entrée). Diners can choose the sizzling chicken fajita salad ($9.50) — seasoned chicken breast with red and green bell peppers and onions accompanied by crispy corn chips, cilantro, diced tomato, sour cream cheese and salsa. Or they can have the house salad ($3.75 or free with an entree). Honey oat rolls will be served free with an entree or for $1.50 each.

The evening’s entrees are mama’s spicy pork ($10.50); cheese enchiladas ($9.50); and fish tacos with chipotle cream ($11.75). Each entree is served with a house salad, a honey oat roll, iced tea and choice of two side dishes: mild Mexican rice, pinto beans, glazed carrots and steamed broccoli. For dessert, diners can enjoy the coconut flan ($4) or blackberry and strawberry empanadas ($5).

Dinner will be served between 6 and 7:30 p.m. in the culinary area of the Student Center (building 106).

Reservations are required by noon Thursday. Call 254-526-1515.
