Long Knife carves Thanksgiving turkey

Pfc. Richard Ferrick, a satellite communications operator with 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, enjoys a Thanksgiving dinner served by the battalion and brigade command teams. This is Ferrick’s first Thanksgiving while deployed.

Texas Humane Heroes is celebrating 35 years of saving animals’ lives this holiday season. Starting Friday, the public is invited to sponsor a homeless pet’s kennel through Dec. 31 for $35 and up.
