Dr. William S. Marsh III is a 1985 honors graduate of the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington Va. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and was a member of the 1985 Southern Conference Champions Keydet football team. He also participated in the student trainer program while a cadet at VMI. After his time at VMI he attended Medical school at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and graduated in 1989. He completed his transitional internship at Fitzsimon Army Medical Center in Denver Co. As a commissioned medical officer he served as the Chief of Aviation medicine at both Ft. Monroe VA. and Ft. Eustis Va. Upon completion of his Residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1996, he was stationed at Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood Texas. In 1999 he transitioned to private practice in Killeen Texas. He now owns and operates The Central Texas Sport and Spine Center. He is board certified and recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in both Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He specializes in the interventional and medical management of acute and chronic cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine pain, non-operative orthopedic joint and limb pain, various types of neuropathic pain including generalized peripheral neuropathies, entrapment neuropathies, RSD (CRPS) and post herpetic neuralgia. Because of his dual certification he also supervises and directs the rehabilitation of the same painful conditions. He also performs numerous electordiagnostic procedures including EMG's, NCS and electromyography guided Botox injection for spasticity. He is a decorated veteran of the United States Army and continues to serve those who proudly serve in the Armed Forces.
