FORT HOOD — Physical training for all units is canceled Friday due to inclement weather, Fort Hood announced.

Soldiers and airmen will report to work at 11 a.m.

Department of the Army civilians will report to work at 10 a.m.

Contract personnel should contact their employers for report times.

Meadows Child Development Center will open for mission essential personnel at 5:30 a.m., while all other Child, Youth and School Services child care programs will open at 9 a.m.

Ranges and training areas remain open, and commander's discretion will be used to mitigate risk, officials said.

Fort Hood military and civilian personnel are encouraged to check for updates on the post’s website at www.hood.army.mil, Fort Hood's Facebook page, local media outlets or call the Fort Hood weather hotline at 254-287-6700.
