FORT HOOD — To answer questions from the community, Fort Hood officials hosted an online town hall Thursday night.

Col. Matt Elledge, garrison commander, and Col. Patricia Darnauer, commander of Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, led directors of programs to answer questions through Facebook and online radio station www.forthoodradio.com.

“It’s another way to reach out to the community,” Elledge said. “We’re trying to get how to serve them better.”

Questions posed in the two-hour window ranged from gate security to cycling on post to the timeliness of health care. Answers to all questions will be posted online within 72 hours.
