Fort Hood police respond to report of shots fired

FORT HOOD — Post police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Liberty Village late Tuesday, post officials said.

“It appears to be an isolated incident and emergency service personnel are currently on the scene evaluating the situation,” a news released from the Fort Hood Public Affairs Office stated.

Anyone who has information regarding this incident should contact Fort Hood police at 254-287-4001.

There is no current danger to residents or the public, the release stated. The incident was resolved and is under investigation by local law enforcement agencies.
