A Fort Hood soldier who died in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve was identified Tuesday as 24-year-old Spc. Javion Shavonte Sullivan, according to a Department of Defense news release.

Sullivan of Fort Mill, South Carolina, died Monday Jan. 8 from a non-combat related incident, which remains under investigation, the release said.

Sullivan was assigned to the 16th Signal Company, 11th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade.
