No evidence of foul play was found during the ongoing investigation into Staff Sgt. Heidi Ruh’s death in Kosovo, officials said Friday.

Ruh’s body was found May 9 by a civilian at a running track at Camp Bondsteel, according to the Kosovo Force’s Multinational Battle Group-East. The 32-year-old was a Fort Hood soldier deployed to Camp Bondsteel.

As the investigation continues, foul play is not suspected, but not ruled out, said Chris Grey, spokesman for U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command in Quantico, Va. No further information is being released at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigative process, he added.
