Staff Sgt. Justin M. DeCrow

DeCrow, of Plymouth, Ind., joined the Army right after high school and married his high school sweetheart, Marikay. They had one daughter, 13-year-old Kylah.

He was assigned to the 16th Signal Company, 62nd Signal Battalion, 11th Signal Brigade, and had served as a light-wheeled mechanic and satellite communications operator.

DeCrow recently returned from a yearlong tour in Korea and was at Fort Hood while waiting to be transferred to the Fort Gorgon, Ga.-area to be with his wife and daughter. DeCrow was 32 years old at the time of his death.
