Leader development, training under budget constraints and preparing the force for the future were among the topics of discussion as the Association of the United States Army annual meeting continued Tuesday in Washington, D.C.

“The one thing we all know is our ability to predict the future is not very good, and the best way to overcome that is with leaders who are adaptive, who are capable,” Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno said during a panel on leader development, according to Defense News.
