Killeen police and emergency responders clear the aftermath of two wrecks near the Fort Hood Street exit off U.S. Highway 190 Wednesday morning.Traffic stalled Wednesday morning after two wrecks congested the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 190, as well as the access road, near the Fort Hood Street exit in Killeen.Police and emergency personnel responded to a four-car accident just before 9 a.m., which resulted in one driver being taken to Metroplex Hospital due to leg pains.As wreckage from the incident was being cleared, a second accident involving three vehicles took place on the access road.Killeen police Officer Brian Pruitt said both wrecks were chain reactions caused by vehicles slowing for traffic.
