A $6.8 million project to widen about 1.5 miles of Farm-to-Market 2410 in Harker Heights continues.

The project, designed to increase safety along FM 2410, will takethe existing roadway from a two-lane to a four-lane facility with a continuous left turn lane, from Roy Reynolds Drive in Killeen to Commercial Drive in Harker Heights.

The project will also include the construction of sound barriers between Highland Oaks and Harley Drive in Harker Heights.

The construction project started in January and is expected to be completed by spring 2019.
