Newborn found dead in Killeen store bathroom

Police remain on the scene at the Killeen Walmart where a newborn was found dead by an employee.

According to police, a Walmart employee found the newborn in the woman's bathroom at 1:49 p.m. Bell County Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke pronounced the infant dead at 2:30 p.m.

The store has remained open, and police continue their investigation.

    Surely someone seen or knows something about who left the baby there. It's so sad that someone felt that was the only choice they had.

    I work in the Colleen Walmart,and wen I heard about it,it was devastating to me,been a new father of a 2 year old,I hope they find the mother and figure out wats going on and why,and if she needs professional help,or she goes to jail,is just sad...
