ABWA council to host dinner meeting

The Central Texas Area American Business Women's Association's council will host its quarterly dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. May 10 at the 50/50 Restaurant & Wine Bar in Georgetown.

Social hour begins at 6 p.m.

The speaker is Dot Ammons, CFO/vice president of Mel's Lone Star Lanes. The program is "Building it, Living it and Loving it."

All 2012 ABWA chapter Women of the Year will be recognized.

Chapters are reminded to forward their Women of the Year nominations and biographies to Karin Oaks at kaoaks6465@embarqmail.com.

The cost is $17 per person, and dinner is a fajita plate combo (beef and chicken) will all the fixings.

The Red Poppy of Texas Chapter is hosting the meeting. The restaurant is at 708 S. Austin Ave. in Georgetown.
