Grand jury indicts Killeen man in sexual assault

BELTON - A Bell County grand jury indicted a 34-year-old Killeen man Wednesday in connection with a sexual assault in December.

Kunta Kinte Jackson was indicted on a charge of aggravated sexual assault.

Killeen police officers responded to a report of a sexual assault at 3:23 a.m. Dec. 20 in the area of South Fort Hood Street and Industrial Boulevard, according to an arrest report. Officers made contact with a woman who reported a tall, black man wearing a dark hoodie and jeans approached her from behind, and put his arm around her neck.

The victim said the suspect, later identified as Jackson, told her he had a pistol. Jackson is alleged to have assaulted the victim after forcing her behind a car. Jackson was arrested when officers noticed he matched a description of the suspect. The victim was shown a photo lineup and identified Jackson as the person who sexually assaulted her, according to an arrest report.

The grand jury also returned indictments against the following:

Brandon Joshua Wilkerson, 31, of Killeen, on a charge of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, 4 grams or more.

Pernall Lorraine Thomas, 36, of Killeen, on a charge of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, 4 grams or more.

Johnny Lechuga, 40, of Temple, on a charge of for possession of methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

Ashley Faye Cornelius, 21, of Moody, on a charge of for hindering apprehension.

Krystle Monique Allemand, 29, of Killeen, on a charge of for forgery by passing.

Josue Rodriguez, 19, of Killeen, on a charge of burglary of a habitation.

Joseph Anthony Quinonez, 29, of Killeen, on a charge of for possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces.

Oscar Rodriguez, 27, of Killeen, on a charge of for possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces.

Ida Ruth Brinson, 24, of Killeen, on a charge of possession of cocaine, less than 1 gram (repeat offender).

Crystal Anne Nagle, 38, of Gatesville, also known as Crystal Anne Bolton, for tampering with physical evidence.

Timothy Sedric Martin Blackwell, 29, of Killeen, on a charge of robbery.

Jocelito Cosme-Gonzalez, 50, of Killeen, on a charge of burglary of a building.

Steven Quan Lamar Washington Jr., 21, of Killeen, on a charge of burglary with intent to commit theft.

Takyshia Rene Davis, 35, of Killeen, on a charge of burglary of a habitation.

Bernice Tarango Rojo, 34, of Killeen, on a charge of burglary of a habitation.

Jessier Gutierrez, 24, of Harker Heights, on a charge of burglary of a habitation.
