Multiple voters are reporting ballot mishaps at the Cedar Valley Elementary School polling location where they claim to have been given ballots for candidates who do not represent their district.

If such votes are counted it could void election results.

City Secretary Paula Miller said City Attorney Kathy Davis is going out to the location to look into the problem.

"I walked over to the little booth and said wait a minute I don't live in District 3," said District 2 resident Teresa Knepp.

Knepp said she was handed a ballot for the District 3 election and voted in the election after elections officials told her everyone was supposed to have the ballot after she pointed out her district on a map.

If you've been permitted to submit a ballot for a district other than your own, please contact KDH at or at (254) 501-7568.
