Bird watching begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at Miller Springs Natural Resource Area, north side of Belton Dam spillway.

Mary Ann Everett, a master naturalist and member of the Audubon Society, is coordinating the bird watching and informative talk.

The public is invited. Participants are asked to bring water, binoculars, insect repellent and a hat.

Birding field guides will be helpful but not necessary.
