Workers and ceremony attendees watch the final beam placed on the new Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center during the "topping out" ceremony Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Fort Hood.

A Fort Hood construction site was evacuated Tuesday morning of all nonessential personnel due to a bomb threat.

Fort Hood officials received a call around 8:10 a.m. from a contractor representative at the site of the future Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, who said a sticky note was found in a portable toilet warning of a bomb, said Chris Haug, Fort Hood spokesman.

Explosive ordnance disposal teams are still searching the area, but nothing threatening has been found.

Officials said the threat is not related to the morning delay of the court-martial of Maj. Nidal Hasan, located across post from the construction site.
